I desire simplicity, but why do I do the opposite?
“In the pursuit of knowledge, something is added every day. In the pursuit of englightenment, something is dropped every day.” Lao-Tzu
I get a temporary high when I acquire new stuff. After the high wears off, I am left with stuff that I don’t need.
We recently sold our South Court property and have moved all the stuff to our current S.2nd home. The garage is now filled with stuff, basement too. I am amazed at my ability to accumulate stuff.
It’s been a while since I rolled back my sleeves and sorted through the junky treasures that I’ve collected over the years.
In the pursuit of enlightenment, I am ready to tackle this long overdue garage sale! Wish me luck.
